About Ziatan

What is Ziatan?

Ziatan is a free comparison and connection service for home services. Enter your ZIP code and we show you the internet, TV, home-phone, mobile, and home-security providers actually available at your address — then help you weigh the options and connect with the one you choose. We’re an authorized retailer, not a carrier or ISP.

Is Ziatan free to use?

Yes — comparing providers and ordering through Ziatan is completely free, with no account and no obligation. We’re paid a commission by the carrier when you complete a qualifying sign-up, which never changes the price you pay.

How does Ziatan make money?

When you choose a provider and complete a qualifying order through us, that provider pays Ziatan a commission. It never changes your price — the carrier’s pricing is the same whether you go through us or directly.

Is Ziatan a real company?

Yes. Ziatan is a California-based telecom and home-security distributor headquartered at 1730 S Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo, CA 94402, operating an onshore U.S.-based team. Reach us at (833) 261-0564.

Ordering & fulfillment

How do I order internet through Ziatan?

Enter your ZIP code to see every provider at your address, then call (833) 261-0564. Our team helps you compare plans, confirms current pricing, and places the order with the provider you pick — usually in one phone call, with no signup required.

Who fulfills my order?

The provider you choose. Ziatan helps you compare and place the order, but the carrier owns installation, scheduling, equipment, activation, and your monthly bill. Your service agreement is always directly with that provider.

Who handles service and support after I sign up?

Your provider does. For installation, billing, outages, plan changes, or cancellations, you work directly with the carrier you chose — they hold your account. You’re always welcome to call Ziatan with general questions, but the carrier is your account holder.

Can Ziatan help me switch providers?

Yes. Enter your new or current address to see what’s available, and our team will walk you through comparing plans, timing the switch to avoid an overlap, and returning old equipment. Many providers also offer contract-buyout credits we can point you to.

Pricing

How accurate are the prices shown?

For major providers we show an indicative starting price and current new-customer promotions so you can compare at a glance. Pricing changes often and depends on your exact address, plan, and promotion — and most intro rates require AutoPay/paperless and exclude taxes & fees. Treat the figures as a guide and confirm the live price directly with the provider before ordering.

Will I pay more by ordering through Ziatan?

No. You pay the carrier’s standard price — ordering through Ziatan costs you nothing extra, and you get the same promotions available directly. We’re compensated by the provider, not by you.

How much does internet cost per month?

Most home internet runs $30–$90/mo depending on technology and speed: cable and 5G home from about $30–$50, fiber from $30–$70, and satellite from about $50. Promo rates usually rise after 12 months, and equipment or taxes may add $10–$20. See our internet cost guide for the full breakdown.

Internet basics

What types of internet are there?

The main types are fiber, cable, 5G / fixed-wireless home internet, DSL, and satellite. Fiber is fastest and most reliable; cable is widely available and fast; 5G home and fixed wireless work well where wired options are limited; satellite (including newer low-orbit services) reaches rural areas. What’s available depends on your address.

What is fiber internet?

Fiber-optic internet carries data as pulses of light through thin glass strands, making it the fastest and most consistent option — usually with matching (symmetrical) upload and download speeds and very low lag. It’s ideal for heavy streaming, video calls, gaming, and homes with many devices. Availability is growing but varies address by address.

How much internet speed do I need?

It depends on how many people and devices share your connection. A rough guide: 1–2 people browsing and streaming HD → 100–300 Mbps; a family streaming 4K, gaming, and working from home → 500 Mbps–1 Gbps; lots of devices or frequent large uploads → 1 Gbps+ (fiber). When in doubt, a little headroom keeps everything smooth.

How do I find internet providers at my address?

Enter your ZIP code on Ziatan to see every provider the FCC records for your area — fiber, cable, 5G home, and satellite — with speeds and coverage. Availability is decided street by street, so the ZIP search is the fastest way to see your real options.

What is the fastest internet available?

Fiber offers the highest residential speeds — commonly 1–5 Gbps and up to 10 Gbps in some markets, with symmetrical uploads. Where fiber isn’t built, cable reaches 1–2 Gbps downloads. Enter your ZIP to see the fastest option filed for your address.
